Your appointment includes a professional assessment of your feet, time to discuss any concerns, and treatment tailored to what your feet need. We’ll also provide practical advice to help you look after your feet following treatment.

Welcome & health history

Andrea will introduce herself and take a brief health history to understand any medical conditions, medications or previous foot concerns that may be relevant.

Full foot assessment

Both feet are examined carefully — skin, nails, circulation and sensation — to build a clear picture of your foot health and identify any areas of concern.

Treatment

Where needed, Andrea will carry out nail care, reduce thickened nails, remove corns or calluses, treat cracked heels and address any other issues found during the assessment.

Advice & aftercare

You’ll receive personalised advice on footwear, self-care at home and any products that may help between appointments. Andrea will recommend a follow-up interval.

First appointment: Allow 45–60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are typically 30–45 minutes. Andrea will never rush you.

Can you visit me at home?
Yes. Andrea offers home visits across Barnet and North London. This is especially popular with elderly patients, those with reduced mobility, or anyone who finds travelling difficult.
Do I need a GP referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with Andrea. If any concerns are identified during your appointment that require further investigation, she will advise you on next steps.
Is this suitable if I have diabetes?
Yes — in fact, regular professional foot care is especially important for patients with diabetes. Andrea has experience in diabetic foot care and will carry out a thorough assessment with this in mind.
